A progressive family-owned and focused organization, Jamieson Family Markets was founded in 1989 when Tom and Debbie Jamieson acquired the Country Club SHOP ‘n SAVE store in Fairmount, West Virginia. Additional SHOP ‘n SAVE stores were added in West Virginia and Pennsylvania.
In 1996, Jamieson Family Markets began operations of its first Save-a-Lot store in Shinnston, West Virginia. Soon after, additional Save-a-Lot stores were added in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
The construction of the Walnut Hill shopping center in 2005 provided opportunities for company growth. The development in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, is home to a Price Cutter supermarket, a Save-a-Lot grocery store, and the Beer/Tobacco Warehouse.
In 2007, Everyday’s a Party, a Jamieson Family Markets first original party supply store, opened in Walnut Hill Plaza but was shut down in 2016 then moved to our current locations in Morgantown, West Virginia and Johnstown.
Jamieson Family Markets is one of the largest private retailers in the tri-state area.
